After many years at the vice and on the water, the time has come for Trout Flies Direct to cast its final line.
This shop has always been about more than hooks, feathers, and thread. It’s been about early mornings, cold fingers, rising fish, and the simple joy of doing one thing well. Knowing that our flies have travelled in your boxes, tied onto your leaders, and drifted through rivers near and far has meant more to us than we can say.
We’re deeply thankful to every customer who chose us, supported a small specialist shop, shared kind words, and trusted our flies when it mattered. Your loyalty kept this place alive for many seasons, and we’re genuinely proud of what we built together.
There’s a sadness in closing the doors, of course. But fly fishing teaches patience, acceptance, and the understanding that all things move in cycles. Rivers change, hatches end, and new waters always lie ahead.
While Trout Flies Direct is coming to an end, the spirit behind it isn’t going anywhere. The love of trout, flies, and time spent outdoors remains, and we hope it continues to bring you the same quiet satisfaction it brought us.
